

On August 20th 2022, USC’s AMCP Chapter will host the Annual AMCP Western Regional Conference.
With 13 schools across the West Coast in attendance, and many professionals, the AMCP Western Regional Conference is a student-hosted conference that rotates amongst pharmacy schools, and unites pharmacy students across the West Coast for a weekend of learning, sharing ideas, networking, and developing new and lasting friendships and connections.

Dr. Perry Cohen is co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of The Pharmacy Group (TPG). TPG provides consulting services to healthcare service, information technology, and pharmaceutical companies to grow revenue and improve the financial performance of their products and services. Dr. Cohen is a co-founder, past president, and fellow of the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy (AMCP). Dr. Cohen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy and a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from University of the Pacific in Stockton, California. During his educational session we will discuss the past, present and future state of the delivery and financing of healthcare in the United States. A live demonstration of new technology to dispense medications in the patient home will be conducted.

Dr. Vinson Lee is currently the Vice President of the Market Access Department at Coherus BioSciences, a company which leads a biologics platform to deliver biosimilar therapeutics in regulated markets worldwide. Dr. Lee has had more than 16 years of experience in managed care, consulting, academia, and in the pharmaceutical industry including areas such as market access, health economics and outcomes research, and medical affairs. He is actively involved within the pharmacy profession and associations, currently serving as a Director for the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy (AMCP) and adjunct assistant professor of pharmacy at the University of Southern California (USC) School of Pharmacy. Vinson holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from USC School of Pharmacy, Master of Science degree in Cell & Neurobiology from the Keck School of Medicine of USC, and Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of California, Riverside.
